Role: Social media content and strategy, as well as a handful of season social and PR campaigns/events.
As the social media manager at Fish Consulting in South Florida, I was tasked with providing hyper localized content for the National Dunkin’ Facebook page, as well as the Dunkin’ South Florida Twitter account. Never a dull moment when the beach and donuts are involved.
In addition to a monthly content calendar, we also worked on PR and social coverage for local franchise events, including a popular promotion we came up with back in 2015 for Valentine’s Day. The premise was to have followers tell us why they loved their significant other for a chance to win an engagement ring and a high profile proposal at a local Dunkin’ Donuts. Needless to say, we had a lot of interest and I throughly enjoyed reading through the 500+ entries we received during the first year.
For my role, I put together the social strategy for the Valentine’s Day campaign that included organic and paid posts, as well as creative content and the sign up form for entries. I also worked closely with our PR team to find a local jewelry store partner, and secure media coverage. Our first ever winners were actually two Dunkin’ employees that had fallen in love while working together and it was a match made in donut heaven.
